Behaviour of Hybrid fibre in RC column with basalt and E-glass fibre under axial loading

چکیده
This paper investigates the behaviour of hybrid fibre, i.e. a combination E glass and basalt added in reinforced concrete column. A total 6 columns were cast with Conventional Concrete (CC) Hybrid Fibre Reinforced (HFRC) to study structural performance The was made cement, manufacturing sand (m-sand), coarse aggregate as major ingredients. In column, 2% Basalt fibre along E-Glass 1% make HFRC. Column tested under universal testing machine static axial load deflectometer placed at sides column measure displacement. axail laterall deformation measured using deflectometer. strain determined recorded data. stiffness respect loads calculated. lateral buckling CC HFRC calculated compared. Both shows similar mode failure application load. experimental results compared theoretical value concluded without added.

Numerical Simulation with Fibre Beam-column Models of Thin Rc Column Behaviour under Cyclic Tension-compression
Damage to structural walls in the recent earthquakes in Chile (2010) and New Zealand (2011) demonstrated that modern reinforced concrete (RC) wall behaviour can be largely governed by out-of-plane displacements triggered by instability. Thin walls are the most vulnerable to this deformation mechanism, especially if they have a single layer of reinforcement. These wall types can be easily found ...

Fibre metal laminates (FMLs) have appeared as the most suitable materials for shipbuilding, aeronautical and aerospace applications due to their superior mechanical properties over traditional materials. In this paper, degradation in flexural and impact properties of glass fibre/epoxy composite (GF/E composite) and stainless steel glass fibre/epoxy fibre metal laminate (SS FML) due to hygrother...
متن کاملBehaviour of E-glass fibre reinforced vinylester resin composites under impact fatigue
An impact fatigue study has been made for the first time on 63⋅5% glass fibre reinforced vinylester resin notched composites. The study was conducted in a pendulum type repeated impact apparatus especially designed and fabricated for determining single and repeated impact strengths. A well-defined impact fatigue (S–N) behaviour, having a progressive endurance below the threshold single cycle im...
متن کاملFibre glass induced synovitis.
Chronic synovitis developed in the dorsal extensor sheath of the hand of a 25-year-old manufacturer of fibre glass reinforced boats and surfboards . Particles found in synovial fluid aspirates were similar in morphology and elemental content to unused fibre glass and particles found in dust from the workshop floor. It was concluded that hard disc grinding required during manufacture resulted in...
